My wife always says to me, “I can’t believe you are surrounded by all of these beautiful sights and then you point your camera at mud.” Well, when mud glows like this, how can I not? I stopped in my tracks as I was walking through this canyon as the reflected wall above was making these wet mud cracks radiate. It was one of the more spectacular subjects I’ve ever photographed.
