You can’t beat summer in the mountains. On this trip, we had frost in the morning, rain in the afternoon, and mosquitos all the time. There’s not much like the crisp air of a summer morning at altitude. On this trip during the summer of 2018, the wildflowers were perfect in the valley. In fact, I had never seen so many fields of flowers in such great shape.
