The Canadian tundra comes alive in autumn, when the blueberry bushes all turn a shade of the most brilliant scarlet you could imagine. After a fresh dusting of snow, high above the valley floor below, I photographed this scene. The texture of the snow-flocked trees, the winding stream, and the red blueberry bushes made for a scene that was instantly one of my favorites I had photographed on the trip.
